    Patch for CC4?

couple of questions: I keep getting an error message that my internet connection is lost even though it isn't. Any ideas on this? Also, is there a way to open this game w/o going online?

No. It needs internet connection at all times because it's an online game.

There was a patch for CnC 4 when I booted it up today, but it might be a patch from months ago as its been ages since I've played.

It seems as though there was a patch at some point, according to my research. It listed a map editor and everything in the details. However, I cannot find the actual file anywhere, and EA support seems to be nonexistent.

It is getting harder to find good gaming companies anymore. Apparently it is now an industry of the quick buck. I will be on the lookout for a company that puts customer service at #1. I will give those folks my money, and then they can make better games that way. As for EA, I wouldn't care if they went out of business after all the unresolved hassles they continue to generate. The European companies are just as poor. As consumers, I hope we start making better choices with our money and giving it to those who treat us better.
