I'm afraid I must concur with everybody else's counter-arguments, Cokaner.
The Gods forbid they take out the factions in C&C. Everybody else has explained why I say that.

As a separate single-player game mode(e.g., a certain form of World Conquest), it would be fine. Otherwise, I can't agree with this.

might work with another game, but not with CnC. CnC needs story and factions.
Actually in game i'm known as `pinnacle33' (just to let you know)

Don't use the tiberium universe. Use the generals universe. It's just WW3 pretty much.

Do you really think that that's any different?

People were complaining that the first Generals didn't have enough variety and drama between the factions in the campaign. Completely eliminating factions is the exact opposite of solving that problem.
