I have been trying to go online on Kane's Wrath but as soon as I click "Online" it says "Unable to connect to Kane's Wrath server, please check your internet connection".

Perhaps you should post the details of your connection.
Can you connect now? It could be just a server maintenance.

I've been trying to connect for a few days now and it tells me the same thing when I try to connect to Tiberium Wars servers. I've tried uninstalling both and re-installing, and I even changed my firewall settings, nothing works.

Do you have Hamachi or another networking program installed?
