Hi there,

I am trying to run Command and Conquer Generals on my PC but keep getting the error:

"Please make sure you have DirectX 8.1 or higher installed. Also verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements."

when I click on the exe.

I have intel integrated graphics therefore no dedicated graphics card. My PC is powerful (i7-2700K) so I'd imagine it should be capable of running the game.

I have installed DirectX 11. I've also set the compatibility to Windows XP SP3 and running as administrator.

My motherboard is Asrock H67M-GE.

Please can someone advise me on what I can do to get the game working.
