so im going to extract the buildings and units from generals/ZH and i want to put them into TW or KW

if i did this would the information of what does what remain on the models or would i have to do some work to make them work for TW/KW ?

what program do i need to use to save the files so that CnC3 can read them?

a step by step tutorial would help me lots
