Lightbulb Please add "game speed adjustment feature"

    Hi Dev Team,

Please add a game speed adjust option there used to be this option on old cnc games and i used to love it.

Just for skirmish if you cannot for single player, but if you can for the whole game that would be awesome that way the players can choose what suits them as game speed is a HUGE sticking point in real time strategy games.

this feature will make a lot of players LOVE the game as its a huge advantage over some of the other RTS games.

Anyone else please post a shout out if you would like to have control over game speed (i doubt anyone would not cause more options is never a bad thing since there obviously would be a default)

Thanks All Super excited for this game.

p.s please make sure you have LAN support and a fully functioning skirmish mode always only add more features NEVER remove them thinking people didn't like them enough, remember pc gamers are a HUGELY diverse bunch and we NEVER reward a Dev that takes our options away IE modern warfare 3 and no ranked dedicated servers also MW2 no dedicated servers... we never forgive and never forget.

    cheers.

    indeed.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

i dont like this idea. id love the game to have a single game speed thats for sp and mp. having diff speeds isnt needed. i never had any problems with cnc3 and ra3 about not having adjustable game speed. even if we look at games that have adjustable game speed they are always played on their fastest speed and all the other game speeds are not used at all. starcraft 2 is proper example of a game thats played 99% of the time on the highest speed and i dont know any1 who plays on a lower speed. so having more speeds in the game is absolutely useless. and thats why i think that gen 2 shoulnd bother including speeds as well as everybody will play on the highest and will most probably never touch the lower speeds.

I liked the gamespeed adjustment for older C&C games (I usually used the second fastest speed), but with Generals, C&C3, RA3 and C&C4 I'm quite happy with the default speed at 30 FPS.

I quite liked the game speed adjustment of older games, it allows you to match the speed to your own skill. Of course, it should be strictly SP (or an unranked option as in SupCom).
Besides, it's super easy to do.

I agree. This is one of the things I miss the most from the pre-Generals games.

Never used this feature as it seemed pretty pointless. If it must be included, then that's fine.

It was also a god-send, as some missions would take so unnecessarily long if it was on the 'normal' game speed. So if anything, lets hope there's a game speed option for campaign!

Not true i use the highest speed possible and my mate slowest. But i think the moral to the story is choice is best. If you don't have it and its too slow, for me, i wont buy it, if its too fast my mate wont, if you can adjust it you hurt no one.

I think having a big range of speeds will help a lot of people. RA3 was WAY to slow for me i got bored fast.

In skirmish the best thing is as you get better turning not just the difficulty up but game speed cause when you get pro waiting for decisions you have already made is annoying as all hell.

Think about it you sort of need it as an added difficulty setting in strategy games game speed is just as important. or should i call it "brain speed" haha Oh EA imma copyright that if you want to use it call me

i can see it now " generals 2 has an amazing new feature to match your "brain Speed" our technology allows uses to match the speed they think at and to challenge that speed.... marketing gold, for those new, they will be like WOW.

But anyways I understand you wont use it, but it sure as hell wont upset you being an option as you will leave it default
