Thread: Mod support

    Post Mod support

A big part of my C&C Generals experience was mods, both online and offline mods were what kept my interest in generals even to this day, huge mods such as Shockwave added so much longevity to the game. My hopes for Generals 2 are that we have mod support and it isnt some bannable offence to have a mod installed. For example having a mod section in multiplayer like there was in generals, but have mods disabled for "Offical or ranked matches" kind of like custom games in Starcraft. Please allow modding of the game, it adds so many experiences that you cannot get without it.

I agree, I think modding is a necessity for this game. I can't imagine C&C without mods.

Yeah we know, its been talked about alot really....

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '
