    Best Improved Upon Expansion Pack

Which C&C Expansion Pack best improved on its mother game? (Retialiation is not included).

Now, please don't vote based on which universe, mother game, or expansion pack was your favorite. That is not what this poll is about. The poll is not establishing which C&C Expansion Pack is the best. The question is, based on how good the mother game was, how well did the Expansion Pack improve on it? For example, if the Expansion Pack just made the game worse or more unbalanced, then it doesn't deserve a vote.

    Ok, vote!

    Aftermath.

Those Chrono and the M.A.D. tanks were teh shizznit when I first got them. I was squeeing with the glee of a 10 year old when I first used them (prolly because I WAS ten when I first used them, I practically grew up with RA1).

    edit://
Damn, click on th wrong vote. I meant Aftermath of course, not Counterstrike.

Voted for Kane's Wrath but I'm really torn. It's KW, YR or ZH in my opinion.

It was tough decision between Kane's Wrath and Zero Hour, but I voted for KW. I just love Global Conquest and stuff brought back from TS: Titan, Wolverine, and cyborg units.

Yuri's Revenge was also good choice.

I say Kanes Wrath, it had a really good amount of additions that were nice for the core game, and mods. :P

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

I voted for KW, but ZH and YR are awesome expansions too.

Personally I think those 3 games are the best C&C games ever, classics bring about a nostalgia, but when is about gameplay options and content they take the crown.
Live well. It is the greatest revenge... And be the salt and light of Earth.

I voted ZH, but now I'm leaning towards KW for the campaign...
    Oh, my.

Its a very close tie between Yuri's Revenge and Kane's Wrath, I ended up voting for KW.

Kane's Wrath: Epic new storyline that still happens during Tiberium Wars. I loved Alexa. Global Conquest is awesome and I loved the subfactions

Yuri's Revenge: Epic campaign aswell with both Allied and Soviet campaigns. Yuri as a villain was simply amazing. The mission designs and objectives were great. Yuri's Forces was also a pretty cool faction to fight, but it was to imbalanced in multiplayer. I also like it how they managed to get the entire same cast from RA2 in the expansion

Firestorm: For the 3rd time an epic campaign, dunno how to describe it else. CABAL was a great new villain, just like Yuri. It was also interesting to see GDI & Nod team up when they were both in great dissaray

(No offense, but Alexa killed herself when she should've shot Kane. Although, I'm not sure what good that would've done, seeing as how Kane is nearly invincible).

I made the thread, so I didn't vote. (Besides, there's a glitch that won't let me vote). Anyway, I would vote for either Firestorm or Zero Hour. I'm not sure how many of you played Firestorm, but it GREATLY improved on Tiberian Sun gameplay. You haven't played Tiberian Sun until you've played Firestorm. Nod's artillery was greatly weakened, and GDI got an artillery unit of its own. There were several other balances made that kept Nod from being to powerful.

I haven't played Yuri's Revenge, but from what I hear, it is very unbalanced in the multiplayer.

I loved Global Conquest on Kane's Wrath, but the epic units unbalanced the skirmish and put me off from playing a lot.

I've never played Covert Ops or Counterstrike, but I have played Aftermath. That game was a lot of fun, but I don't think it improved on its mother game as much as Firestorm did.

Finally, Zero Hour. I'm emotionally attached to Zero Hour because it was the last game made by the original Westwood team (And the original Generals was made by the team that made Red Alert 2 and Yuri's Revenge). Also, it was a lot of fun and I play it mostly for the multiplayer very often.

In conclusion, while I love Zero Hour the best, I think that Firestorm BEST improved on its mother game.

im gonna have to go for kanes wrath.

it just improved on the game play go much for me as i found tib wars lacking somehow.

zero hour probably second. both for the sub factions and new units seemed to improve so much on the longevity of each game.

edit. tho kw was lacking a gdi campaign which it should of had. anda scrin not necessary but would of been good.
