Lauren does make a point. However, I think that you'd still be able to see the little details on those vehicles whence zoomed in, despite the slight lack of contrast.

Or was that the point you were making, Lauren?

My point was that you can't see anything on them but grey mud when they're not at least ~400px in height and width with these textures. My eyes can't even make sense of this until I clicked on the "(view original)" link on ModDB.

It looks a bit jumbled, I admit, but I can still see them well enough.

For the Crow's 2 modes, currently it uses legs when moving short distances, and rolls for long ones.

We hadn't really discussed this yet, the original intention was just to give it more of a unique design.

Brainstorms off top of my head:
Vehicle mode: faster, can crush, less accurate weapon

Walking: movement versatility, can avoid mines, move slower

Those are just a few possibilities, the specifics may depend on balancing.

Thanks for asking and getting engaged.

perhaps since its on its legs its height has increased so its weapons range increases? that would be a good reason to do it.

its line of sight could increase also.

agreed, its rather hard to point out the details of the look IMO, just sayin.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

    Understood,
we were also concerned with the background, it might have played into the contrast issue a little.

If the model and texture is good the background wont matter.
