Bring back long game , short game option.

if any of you remember red alert 2 you will also remember the long game , short game option
long game (you win when all enemy units are destroyed) short game( you win when all enemy structures are destroyed). but i was sad to see generals and red alert 3 only have short game. please people demand to bring this option back. You may be thinking why? when you loose all buildings you have no hope of winning anyways. Wrong!!!! i have dis-proven this many times, and in many different ways. for example one time i built a ton of kirovs on red alert 2 but my base got destroyed and all i had was the kirovs. then i destroyed all of the other bases in the game and all the units and i won.

please if any developer is reading, or if you know one please i beg of you bring this option back. i hated all the games after red alert 2 because i hate short game. i will not buy anymore if this simple to program option is not put in.

    you loyal friend since 1995.

Usually I prefer winning the game by destroying all enemy structures, but indeed it would be useful if you had a few extra units even after your base is destroyed. However I also hated searching for that one enemy War / Chrono Miner in RA2 or some annoying stealth unit in TS some years back when I never put short game on.

I don't mind whether they put this option in G2 or not. As long as the gameplay itself is awesome.

It would be a nifty feature, but almost unnecessary: most people GG out/rage quit when they know they are going to lose a match, so it would seem that the only place that this would be a viable addition is where two (or more) players base-race

dark reign 2 had a nice balance, once you lost all of your building, you had 3 minutes to either build another building or try to kill your opponent - added a bit of drama too in close games.

Agreed, its not an entirely needed feature.

Here's a solution. Unstealth everything and mark every last remaining unit on the minimap.
