    Is there a cd-rom version?

I havent played C&C in a long time but it was one of my favorite games growing up so I decided to pick up this large collection. I found "The First Decade" for sale but the seller claims its the cd-rom version, and I want the dvd-rom version. I would just but one thats listed as dvd-rom, but the one in question is the cheapest I have seen.

I havent seen a "cd-rom" version for sale anywhere else. Is there a cd-rom version or does it sound like the seller just doesnt know what their talking about?

There is no CD-ROM version. It's always a single DVD with all games on it, and (not sure if it's in all editions) a DVD with extras.

Personally, though, I wouldn't buy it from a seller that doesn't know what he's talking about

bah forget it. Its clear the seller and sellers for that matter just dont know what their selling, or accidentally listed it under the wrong title.

Here is the most recent message I sent to the seller:

"hmm, are you absolutely sure this is a cd-rom and not dvd-rom? I believe you that it is cd-rom just that I cant seem to find a cd-rom version anywhere else and people on the command and conquer forum are saying that there is no cd-rom version. Doesnt really matter though since either version is fine and I already bought it. Apparently this compilation of games is suppose to be all on 1 DVD and an extra DVD with some added stuff."

    and this was their response:

"Yeah you just pop the disc into your cd-rom drive and the installation begins like any other game. You just have to insert the disc any time you want to play it though."

prior responses to my messages yielded similar results :-/

Good lord, it's like they don't even know the difference XD

Ah well. It's clearly the right game, anyway.

My guess is the seller doesnt play video games and isnt aware that the dvd format isnt just for movies anymore.

well, if someone could fit the entire game of TFD on a single cd-rom...
you could fit a single game, 2 if its the earlier ones... but all of them? nah.

One CD? I think not. Maybe after you leave out the roughly 800 mb of videos each of these games have

And cutting Kane out of any C&C game is a deadly sin.
