State of RA3 multiplayer

Greetings;

I'm just wandering about the state of game's multiplayer, anyone still plays it, any online ladders, matchmaking, is it worth buying it now just for the multiplayer (and expansion aswell). Thanks.

basically its still somewhat alive, but 2v2 automatch is down and i dont see very many 1v1 automatchs either. custom games also sometimes seems bare of games. no idea about ladder. yes people still play it, dont know if its worth buying. expansion doesnt have multiplayer
