serial problem

I have bought C&C: the first decade today.
I espacially bought this game because it contains zero hour.
When i wanted to create an online account it said invalid serial.
The game is brand new!

Also i've uninstalled an old version of zero hour from a friend and after that i installed my first decade package.
Can somebody please check this out?

Hmm. thats quite odd.
The only reason why this would happen is if the serial was blocked for some reason.
Try sending a email to C&C Support, and explain the situation. you are advised to send the serial as well, that way they can tell you why the key does not work.
If you installed the game with the key it should be valid, but if it refuses access to the internet servers, it was probably included in a sweep ban (Bans all serial keys from one to another) to prevent mass pirating.
has anyone else used this key? if they have and were online at the same time, the anti-piracy switch would have activated, and they key would be blacklisted.
