Yeah, not too bad, obviously not a replacement for dedicated PC games, but for a browser F2P game, its a good game.

The best part of free-to-play is that it brings a lot of people together.

However, normally the free-to-play games have RPG game elements in it, such as leveling up and finding better gear, and that is usually offered with money too. I don't see any idea how would they make money without this game elements. And the term DLC is suited for non free to play games I think. Otherwise it would be called only patch in my opinion, because they already take money for buying new items or for fast leveling up.

Generals 2 has already been in the works for way too long to suddenly turn it into a F2P game. Also, they already got a F2P C&C game released not long ago. It would be stupid to suddenly release yet another F2P C&C game.

No. Generals 2 should not be a free to play game.

Of course not, we already have TA for that.

I hope Generals 2 does not go down the path of free to play. There are so many out there that start with the right idea but almost always end up as pay to win. I would much rather pay for the game up front and everyone have a level playing field.

Remember this is EA where talking about so I doubt that they would release a game made by Bioware one of there best for free. Plus since the game may be way better than the last few games they made then why release it for cheap.

This is the kind of question where a poll would have done wonders.....

But, No, I don't think a game that is meant to restore faith in C&C should use such a questionable model as Free to play, I'm starting to think that model is borderline unethical.

Agreed we all know that C&C has been going downhill over the last few years and we are all hoping that Generals 2 is the game that will reignite the fanbase. I think they only made Tiberium Alliances as a free-to-play game to help tie us over till the release of Generals 2. Let me just say one thing, I am not a big fan of MMO's and I only played the beta for a few weeks until I quit it.
