Better try all of em to find out lololz.

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

Well it seems you're new to RTS games entirely, not just C&C. So I'll recommend two games:

-C&C 3: Excellent game, in my opinion the best C&C game that was developed by EA. It's also one of the simpler RTS games out there, it's just fun. I love it.

-Starcraft 2: Wing of Liberty: This is one of the best RTS games I've ever played, it has a balanced multiplayer with constantly evolving strategies, 3 very different races to play and master as, and a near flawless matchmaking system. Also, if you're not that serious about competitive play, there's a hugely fun 'custom games' option which holds dozens of fun games settings and the like to try out.

    The irony...

No matter, I get what you mean.

i like SC2 as well. campaign mode is pretty good and challenging (if you play on hard/brutal) multiplayer good too
but features less units actually then in single player. other that is a pretty good game. you can also get the starter edition for free from battle.net that lets you play the first 5 missions and with limited multiplayer.
but unlike in TT it takes a little bit more time to become a pro like for the diamond league (if you ever get there). and i think it cost more than TT (about £29.00 compared to £8 - £15 for TT). i think in next year a new expansion (the heart of the swarm) will come out. maybe the same time as Generals 2. cant wait
