    Resolution problem with ddraw

I just installed The First Decade on my Windows 7 Pro 32-bit -powered PC, and encountered much more problems with The First Decade than ever before. Though I was able to solve most of them, there still is this one thing, very minor one, but still.

I'm using CnCddraw to run Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert. I disabled the windowed mode, for I want to play my games in fullscreen mode. The only problem is that the image seems to be stretched so that the sides are cut out. It just bugs me a bit that some informative messages are missing their first letter etc.

Is there a way to change the resolution for fullscreen mode? I tried to change some values in the ddraw.ini, but it always leads to the game crashing and saying "canno't find resolution etc" I'm not certain what it said, but anyway.

Is there anything I can do?

There's a scaling mode called "centered" in ddraw.ini. If you use that, you can center the screen in a larger resolution, and, if it's big enough, it'll double the image size. Using Centered and then setting cnc-ddraw to use your normal desktop resolution should solve the problem.
