Lightbulb Can i use the same serial key to play online

    Hi
My command and conquer generals deluxe edition was one of those faulty ones with botched serial keys that gave you the error "serial invalid, try another" Despite it being a brand new copy.
I do remember EA doing a recall on those stupid copies. but i couldn't be asked to contact them, knowing EA's abysmal support.

So the question is if i buy a brand new copy (not deluxe edition) and i download it on my pc and play online with it.
Then later on when i buy a laptop and download it on to that can i play online with the laptop? would it say serial number already in use?. If i use the same account and not play at the same time?
Really hope to get a quick reply. Thanks

I'm not sure, but since the game is not on Origin I think the answer is no. But I'm not 100%... :/
