    CD keys

I bought TFD a few years ago. Since then, I have moved a few times. Some of my stuff is scattered between a few different places. The rest, like the computer I used to play the games, got thrown out. Some how, my CDs and case were seperated. I currently have my CDs, but when I try to install the game CD onto my laptop, I don't have the case with me, so I don't have the product keys. Is there a way to get a key and validate my copy so that I can play RA2 again? I LOVE that game, as well as the Commando one. But I can wait to play that one for when I can get the case back.

So, is there a way to get a temporary key without having to drive 200+ miles just to get the case?

Besides using a key generator? You can buy a new key from EA, but I think they charge 10$ per game key, and I'm not sure if "The First Decade" is seen as one game, in that aspect, since it has about half a dozen keys.

You could try contacting the EA/Origin support line and see what they say. They might be able to help you, as long as they have some proof that you had the game. Maybe if you ever played online they can use that and give you some new keys.

No, even if you have proof you bought the game, their general policy is to sell you the keys. Especially if he can still technically retrieve the old ones, since that means that technically, those new keys could simply be handed to someone else with a copy of the DVD.
