Steam version of C&C not able to install World Builder!

I found this and it works. Be careful not to mess with anything in regedit other than what is here:

I found the answer your looking for, guys!

The reason World Builder installer is not working is that the system registry has the install path for your game without a backslash at the end. The installer reads the install directory path from the registry and attaches the executable file to the end. If there's no backslash in the registry entry, it will produce a path that looks like this:
    "d:\valve\steam\steamapps\common\command and conquer 3 - kane's wrathCNC3EP1.exe"

    rather than
    "d:\valve\steam\steamapps\common\command and conquer 3 - kane's wrath\CNC3EP1.exe".

To fix this and bet World Builder to install, do this (Parentheses is for 64-bit Vista / Win 7 only):

Use the Run command in windows XP or the Search Bar in Vista/Win 7 and run "regedit".

For TW and Kane;s Wrath, go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > (Wow6432Node > )Electronic Arts > Electronic Arts > Command and Comquer 3

Edit the "InstallPath" key (on the right side by double clicking it) to add the backslash "\" at the end of the path.

Once I opened "InstallPath" by double clicking it, the file looked like this looked like this:
c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\command and conquer 3 tiberium wars

Add a backslash to make it look like this:
    c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\command and conquer 3 tiberium wars\

For RA3 World Builder, do the same, but you need to edit the "Install Dir" key.

Once the change is made, World Builder will install fine.

    Thanks
