Thread: F2P Means...

    F2P Means...

The game is entirely free. You can acquire everything in the game for free. Cosmetic assets cost money and you can spend money to get things faster.

    If...

EA restricts you from part of the game unless you pay money then it is not free to play. It would be considered a glorified demo.

So let's remind EA before they even try it.

If you make a campaign and players cant access the entirely of it then the game is not F2P.

If you charge for additional factions or make it ungodly hard to get without money then it is not F2P.

I'm writing this because EA is hella greedy and like to employ every money making strategy possible especially since they make bad games that fail all on their own.

"You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means."

Well, the gaming industry certainly doesn't think it means what you think it means.

The f2p idea is scary, but it wont be. Itll be free to play then pay to have fun. Look at Tiberium allilances (the guinea pig).

Also Look at the pattern from dawn to cnc 4, ya cnc is all about the campaign, it seems like they tried a new approach with 4 which bombed, now TA is out, and here comes their new idea which totally seems to fit with their development strategy. So they steamroll the new cnc to come out . --IF-- its good then other stuff might happen, IF its a disapointment ....

... i couldnt think of anything.- Why does it have to be one game at a time.... but then i thought about what if they made another game that had SP MP skirmish. Isnt tiberium dusk next.
    need a ride, hit it!
