    need help please.

I been having probloms installing Command and Conquer the first decade. I have windows 7, using one of the top of the line alienware pc's. When i go to install the game a message comes up half way threw the installation saying a serious error with renegade has occured and its denied. It gives me the option to try again, abort or ignore. I click ignore and continue the installation. When its done i installed the patch 1.03. Now for the problom lol. when i go to play Generals or Zero hour the title screen comes up but the game will not load/play it will just give me a message saying my hardware is overheating or is not compatible lol. how is that possible for one my pc is new and for two its a custom alienware? Someone please help me with my issues!!!! Thank you!!!

You may need to launch the game via compatability and Admin mode, especially for Windows 7.

Best thing to do is disable User Account Control, also for Generals/Zero Hour try creating the options.ini files (see common problems)

I'm having the same problem as the OP, and when I look for the options.ini file it is isn't there. Should i create a new options.ini and fill it with the patch from "common problems"?
