    Why not just build a PC? Assuming you already have things like monitor, speakers, case etc. it would be fairly cheap to build a good PC.

    Yes true, the game quality decreases but I'm pretty sure the quality of the game won't decrease if it's just for PC and Xbox360. We're talking about a next-gen system, not PS2 or Original Xbox.

    it shoulnt be that bad anyway, if u can play SC2 good enough, then im sure u can play the new game too.

    My quote:
    'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

    Creating a cross-platform game isn't the priority of VG, seeing how its true priority right now is about recreating a broken franchise. Diverting attention towards other platforms might not be a good idea.

    I will respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

    Next-gen was years ago, mate. You're hitting the tail-end of the 360s cycle; I'm almost guaranteeing that either this E3 or before the next E3 there will be a new "next-next-gen" console drop as it's about that time in the cycle. It WAS better than most PC hardware when it released but that is with 2005/2006 era hardware. Now, neither CnC3 nor RA3 or CnC4 even approach the hardware limit, but the differences were quite clear.

    Now, yes, a 360 port is much easier than a PS3 version due to the existence of the DirectX-based XNA api for the 360, but this new "resurgence" of CnC is appearing to be a grass-roots, back-to-basics approach.

    You win some, you lose some, that's life.

    Porting the game over to console wouldn't be a good idea to do simultaneously with the development of the original game, since they'll just have the consoles restraints in mind. It would be better if they made the game first for PC, and then ported it to consoles.

    PC is where it's at when it comes to RTS, always has, always will.

    and if you are a true C&C fan you would realize the best gaming experience is on the PC and you would stop complaining.

    I don't mean it that way, I mean that it will decrease because of the divided resources going to each platform instead of 100% support for PC.

    @OP

    Alright, I'm not going to knock you for wanting to play an RTS on a console, but let me get this straight... you want a series that's always been about the PC, and in fact helped make PC gaming what it is today, to change their focus to consoles, just because your computer is outdated?
