nope. its a failed concept: glassesless 3D. the technology isn't ready for the age yet, and the battery life would be appalling: worse than my mobile phone running facebook, my yearbook, music at full volume, and browsing the net all at once.

Use Torrents? I know what you have downloaded. click my sig for proof

I'm torn. It looks cool, but the battery life is terrible, and there's not launch games. Plus my DSi is doing good. I think I'll wait for a price drop.

I'm getting it. Short battery life doesn't concern me since I've never played any handhelds in public for more than 20 minutes at a time. I usually play them at home, near an outlet.

Secondly, I've never really been to interested in 3D effects. Sure it might be a cool little trick, but the 3DS' 3D capabilities aren't exactly a leading reason as to why I'm getting the system.

I mainly want it for it's graphical update and the slew of game remakes that it has coming. Especially Ocarina of Time.

i shall git it, not much in the battery, but meh, i play home mostly anyway, like the updates in graphics though, and i can still play my good ol DS games on it too :P

    My quote:
'Meh, I don't really care anymore about the new games direction, with many loads of hours(make that years actually) on Tib Sun, YR, Generals, CnC3, and RA3, plus all the mods they come with, another game with the same old formula is rather redundant IMO. '

I think that it is an interesting idea for Nintendo to try but I would rather play one first then spend $250 dollars of my own money and find out I don't like it.

I've gotten almost every handheld that has come out since gameboy color... every single one has ended up just sitting on my shelf collecting dust after about the first couple of months. So I think I'm going to save myself the money(even though Zelda and Metal Gear make it tempting).
